November 2026 - Interference to Invincibility

By Kerri Hummingbird Sami

November picks up exactly where October left off, in alliance, and carries you from the shared work of belonging into the embodied work of creation. Where October met the body’s oldest fears, November awakens its life force: the creative, generative energy that wants to move, build, and bring something new into the world. Along the way it asks you to notice where that energy gets stuck: in old patterns with others, in flatness, in not being heard, in settling for less, in pushing too hard, and in the heaviness of not knowing where to begin. Each one, met honestly, releases more of your natural power.

It opens still inside Gene Key 44 (October 31 - November 5). October’s alliance continues, but now it turns practical. The shadow of interference shows up as old relationship patterns and inherited wounds that pull you toward the wrong people or keep you guarded with the right ones. The invitation is to trust your instinct for who belongs in your life and your work right now. The gift is teamwork, and here it becomes the ground you’ll create from. The siddhi is synarchy: a web of people each following their own nature and, in doing so, holding the whole.

Once you’re among the right people, something wants to be born. Gene Key 1 (November 5 - 11) names entropy, the flat, grey feeling when creative energy goes quiet and life loses its color. It can feel like depression or numbness, but it’s often the stillness that comes before something new. The gift is freshness: creativity that arises not by escaping the low mood but by letting it move through you. The siddhi is beauty, the recognition that every moment is uniquely, unrepeatably alive.

From that fresh creative stirring, something inside begins to speak. Gene Key 43 (November 11 - 16) brings deafness: not hearing your own inner voice beneath the noise of the mind, and the frustration of feeling unheard by others. The gift is insight, the sudden knowing that breaks through when you stop straining to understand. It asks for patience about when and how to share what you know. The siddhi is epiphany, a breakthrough so complete it reorganizes how you see everything.

With insight as your guide, Gene Key 14 (November 16 - 22) asks where your energy is actually going. The shadow is compromise: spending your life force on work and commitments that don’t light you up, trading your spirit for security. The gift is competence, the natural skill and prosperity that flow when your energy is invested in what is truly yours to do. The siddhi is bounteousness, an overflowing abundance that can’t help but be shared.

As your energy aligns with the right work, you feel its full power in the body. Gene Key 34 (November 22 - 27) names force: pushing, overriding, or bulldozing your way forward, and its opposite, collapsing when the push runs out. The gift is strength, a grounded, individual power that comes from doing what you’re built to do without needing to prove anything. The siddhi is majesty, the quiet magnificence of a being fully at home in its own body and action.

November closes with Gene Key 9 (November 27 - December 3), the archetype of the small step. Having belonged, created, listened, aligned, and embodied your strength, you’re ready to follow through. The shadow is inertia: feeling stuck, overwhelmed by the size of things, or scattering your energy across too many directions. The gift is determination, the power of focusing on one small, meaningful detail at a time and letting momentum build. The siddhi is invincibility, the discovery that nothing can stop a life moving steadily in the direction of its own truth.

Where October moved you from inner judgement into outer belonging, November moves you from interference into unstoppable creative flow: allied, fresh, insightful, competent, strong, and steadily determined.

Sacred Waters

By Jessica Inman

This is the story of Gwaynten, the guardian of an ancient sacred spring, as she travels into the Otherworld to retrieve her stolen chalice.

In the ancient days, when the land was considered special and sacred and its importance was far more greatly understood, water was revered as a precious element that was essential for life. Each well, due to being such a cherished and vital source of water, was therefore appointed a guardian: a maiden whose duty it was to care for and protect the water. The Maidens of the Wells would offer refreshment to those who passed by and were also healers and oracles, with the ability to divine the future. Each Maiden possessed a chalice with which to draw her water, which was considered to be a sacred and magical tool, and its use was at the very heart of her work.

One day, King Amangons raped one of the maidens and took her chalice from her. He then bid his men to go and do the same, ordering them to take the cups and bring them back to him. The Maidens of the Wells were deeply afraid and, without their chalices, could no longer do their work. They retreated into the Otherworld to hide in fear. Without their presence, healing, and magic, the wells became dry and the Earth began to suffer. Eventually the whole of the land became a barren wasteland as all signs of life withered away.

Gwaynten lives a peaceful life as Maiden of the Well, guarding the water and tending to weary travellers. But when her healing chalice, Kerensa, is stolen and the land begins to wither, she retreats to hide in the Otherworld: a mystical world not quite like this one, where things, and time, happen differently.

She learns that the Maidens of the Wells are in great danger and that many others have disappeared, robbed of their chalices and unable to perform their duties at their wells. The disappearance of the Maidens has caused the Earth to lose its connection with the healing energy of the feminine, and the once thriving lands have become barren.

Gwaynten vows to find her chalice and restore harmony to her well and the land around it and embarks on a great adventure. Magical beings cross her path along the way and challenges arise at every corner. With no indication of where her chalice may be, will she ever regain it and return to her world? And what will become of the other Maidens, their lost chalices, and the barren lands?

Based upon the legend of the Lost Maidens of the Wells, this is a story of courage, mysticism and romance, which will remain with you long after you have finished reading.
